Asus to unveil Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone 2 Laser, Zenfone 2 Selfie in India

Asus is going to organize a ZenFestival in India on August 6. As a part of its preview event, the company took the wraps off its latest smartphones. These new handsets will be launched in the first week of August, the new smartphones are — ZenFone Selfie, ZenFone 2 Deluxe, and ZenFone 2 Laser.

Asus Zenfone 2The Zenfone 2 Selfie was initially unveiled at the Computex last month, the main feature of the phone is its 13-megapixel rear and front cameras with dual-LED flash. In terms of other specifications, the device comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor.




The smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with ZenUI on top and features 2GB RAM with the 16GB variant, and 3GB RAM with the 32GB variant. On the connectivity front, the device supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.

Now coming on to the Zenfone Deluxe, it also features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with ZenUI on top. The device is powered by a 64-bit Intel Z3580 quad-core SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. There is a 13-megapixel of rear camera on-board along with a 5-megapixel of front camera. The Zenfone Deluxe supports connectivity options such as dual-SIM, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.

The third device announced at the preview event is the ZenFone 2 Laser, similar to the Zenfone 2 Selfie, this device is also photography-focused and features a 13-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus, along with a 5-megapixel selfie camera. It comes with a 5-inch 720p display, and is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core SoC coupled with a 2GB of RAM. It has 8GB/16GB expandable internal storage variants, and is backed by a 2,070mAh battery. It supports connectivity options such as, dual-SIM, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with ZenUI on top.

Asus is expected to reveal the prices of the aforementioned smartphones soon and is also dubbed to unveil more products. The new products will be the new ZenPad series.
