Asus has become quite famous in the Indian smartphone market after it launched a trio of value-for-money Android smartphones; the Zenfone 4, the Zenfone 5, and the Zenfone 6 in the country. During the CES 2015 earlier this week, the Taiwanese brand has announced the successors to its Zenfone series of Android smartphones, the Asus Zenfone 2 and the Asus Zenfone Zoom. It isn’t clear when they would be launched in India, but Asus has already dropped the prices of the Zenfone 4 and the Zenfone 5.
| Smartphone Models | Old Price | New Reduced Price |
|---|---|---|
| Asus Zenfone 4 (Soda Lime Glass) | Rs. 5,999 | Rs. 5,299 |
| Asus Zenfone 4 (Corning Gorilla Glass) | Rs. 5,999 | Rs. 5,399 |
| Asus Zenfone 5 8GB | Rs. 9,999 | Rs. 9,499 |
| Asus Zenfone 5 16GB | Rs. 12,999 | Rs. 9,999 |
The Zenfone 4 is now available at a reduced price of Rs. 5,299, while the Zenfone 5 is now available for Rs. 9,499 and Rs. 9,999 for 8GB and 16GB variants respectively. However, there has no price cut for the Zenfone 4 A450CG, which comes with a 4.5-inch display. The new prices are visible on the respective product pages on Flipkart.
