The successor to the Samsung Galaxy S5, rumoured to be called Galaxy S6, has been spotted on AnTuTu, one of the most popular benchmarking apps on Android, according to a screenshot posted by a Chinese website CNMO. The Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G925F, seen on the screenshot, might be a European version of the device.

As per the screenshot, the devices should come with a 5.5 inch Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display, a 20-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, ARM Mali-T760 GPU, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 3GB RAM, and 32 GB internal memory.

SamMobile reports that the device will take a new direction design-wise, and will be a part of a project internally codenamed as 'Project Zero'. It might borrow some design elements from Samsung's recent metal-clad smartphones like the Galaxy Alpha and the Galaxy Note 4. The new approach in design is understandable, since Samsung is trying to ditch plastic in favour of metal. In last couple of months, most of the devices launched by Samsung more or less sport the same design.

Coupled with no distinguishing hardware or software improvement in the devices, Samsung is selling less than ever. According to Samsung's recent quarterly report, the Galaxy S5 sales have been disappointing - it sold 40 percent fewer Galaxy S5 smartphones than the previous Galaxy S4 model.
