Xiaomi has been creating waves in the market where it is present with its rock bottom pricing of high end devices. It has just entered India and is all set to replicate its global success here as well. It has just launched the Xiaomi Mi3 in India for Rs 14,999 and the smartphone is all set to become the best selling device in the sub Rs 15,000 category and give sleepless nights to the likes of Micromax, Karbonn, Gionee and so on. Let us take a look at its specifications:

Xiaomi Mi3

  • 5 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass on top of it for protection
  • 2.3 GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor
  • Adreno 330 GPU
  • 2GB RAM
  • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with MIUI 5.0 on top of it
  • 16GB internal storage (13.22GB user available)
  • 13MP rear camera with Sony Exmor BSI sensor and dual LED flash and a 2MP front camera
  • 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and  NFC
  • Metallic Grey
  • Rs 14,999

You need to register now for the sale on the company's website which is on the 15th of July. We believe it will follow a similar model for selling devices as it does in other countries. Xiaomi has priced it so right that it makes even the Moto G look way overpriced, let alone others.
