For the first time ever, Xolo has updated any of its smartphone offerings to Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The Xolo Q1000 Opus, which launched late last year with a quad-core processor from Broadcom and Android 4.2.2 JellyBean at a price point below Rs 10,000 has recently received the Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
There is no official change log for this software update from Xolo. It comes with usual improvements and features from the Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Recently, it had received the bug fix and performance improvements updates for touchscreen accuracy and camera performance. This update isn't supplied through OTA system. The KitKat update measuring 294 MB can be downloaded from Xolo's official website. You need to rename it from "update_kitkat" to "update' before updating the device.
