In a move to increase its sales in the Indian market, Apple has now come up with a brand new scheme. We have heard that the company is going to offer a discount of Rs. 13,000 on its two smartphones, iPhone 5C and iPhone 4S, if the buyers will exchange their previous mobile sets of any other brand. This scheme comes with some terms and conditions. This marketing plan has been initiated along with Apple’s buy back scheme under which it accepts the buyer’s old iPhone models when the buyer wishes to purchase the iPhone 5C and iPhone 4S handsets.
The brands and their respective handsets that will be accepted by Apple under this scheme have been enlisted as follows:
- Blackberry Z10 and Blackberry Q10
- Sony Xperia Z, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1, Xperia ZR and Xperia C
- HTC Desire 500, HTC Desire 600, HTC One Mini and HTC One Mini dual
- Nokia Lumia 925
- Samsung Mega 5.8/6.3, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy S III
- Apple iPhone 4 (8 GB and 16 GB variants)
The two smartphones, Apple iPhone 5C and iPhone 4S, are quite good devices with some really useful features and services that makes them very functional. They are perhaps two of the finest products by the company that carry exceptional technology and have been quite aesthetically designed. The buy back scheme initiated by Apple will surely tempt a great number of consumers.
Apple, the most valuable brand in the world, stands strong on the company’s ethos. It is hoping that such exciting deals will bring it more customers in India that will eventually increase its sales here. These marketing strategies and plans might have been taken by the company because of the ongoing stock crunch.
