BSNL Launches Unlimited EVDO Plan For Prepaid

In a radical move to boost the EVDO Data and Mobile services India’s National Telecom backbone Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) announced the pan-India Launch of Unlimited Prepaid EVDO Plan with National Roaming facility (except Mumbai/Delhi) over its CDMA mobile services. Earlier the Unlimited Plan was available only with Postpaid service.

BSNL introduced new attractive Unlimited Downloads plan (Home and Roam) at just Rs. 750 for its prepaid EVDO Data card subscribers across India. With the promotional plan subscriber can access High speed wireless Internet with unlimited Downloads-Uploads while on move across India.

The operator also unveiled 3 limited plans starts from Rs.150 . Earlier with the prepaid services the only Pay As per Use Plan was available with default tariff of 5 paisa /100KB(50 paisa per MB) for data usage. BSNL EVDO data card provide High speed wireless broadband service up to 3.1 Mbps.

BSNL EVDO Data Card Tariff in Details (Prepaid)-:

Rs.150 500 MB (Home and Roam) Rs.1/MB 30 Days
Rs.250 1 GB (Home and Roam) Rs.1/MB 30 Days
Rs.500 2.5 GB (Home and Roam) 80p/MB 30 Days
Rs.750 UNLIMITED (Home and Roam) NA 30 Days
Note-:

  • The charges mentioned above will be automatically deducted from the account balance available in the customer’s prepaid account.
  • The bundled free data usage is also applicable while in National Roaming across India with in BSNL network.
  • The bundled free usage is to be exhausted within the validity period of 30 days.
  • No carry forward of un-utilized free data usage will be allowed after the expiry of validity period.
  • EVDO Roaming will be allowed in BSNL circles only.

initially the bill was fixed at Rs 750/month, but since last few months it comes to about Rs. 840/month, why this change/

and whats the use of posting comments and all, does anyone in BSNL care about anything we say here?

the post says Rs 750/- for unlimited uses for 30 days and this is for prepaid EVDO data, what about post paid EVDO uses? It says Rs. 750/- for 30 days Home unlimited but I my bill for post paid EVDO comes to more than 800 Rupees/month, how is this possible??

because every postpaid bills in India is included with service tax .I have a broadband 675 rs but bill comes of 780 rs (BSNL)

I am using a EVDO connection since last few months. Actually I approached BSNL Shillong for a 3G internet connection just after the Tata Photon closed it service in the area, but I was told that the area I am residing is a shadow area where 3G will not work satisfactorily (Rilbong, Near the Shillong Times Office, Shillong, Meghalaya, and instead I was advised to go for EVDO which I did. I recently bought a postpaid evdo connection…
i live in the north east… im unable to find any prepaid connection…
so can u plz tell me what r the charges for postpaid on default and what are the plans for the postpaid evdo… and how do i check the details of my evdo….
plzzzzz help…….

BSNL should have been the best ,but it is not the best .Do they provide assured speed as per guidelines of TRAI also Or the customers are wandering after the JE / lineman / officers of BSNL to get speed……………and in the end customer feels as if he / she is being cheated……..It is cheap only

Hello, Seema, You can change your limited Rs. 500 to unlimited Rs. 750 through one Request application to your nearest BSNL office. I am already using Rs. 750 unlimited plan.
