Xiaomi has already launched its Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones in India which have gone on to become a highly successful phones from Redmi. The brand announced that it has been able to sell two million units of these smartphones in just two months and the Chinese company also announced that it would be launching another 48MP camera smartphone - the Redmi Note 7S today. Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 7S and has given it the tag of '48MP for Everyone' and here are all the details that you need to know about this new device including the specifications and the pricing.




Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S: Design and Display 

The first striking thing when you lay your eyes on the Redmi Note 7S is the glass back. The phone comes in three colour options, which include Onyx black, Sapphire Blue, and Ruby Red. Inside the box, Redmi is shipping a free case, charger and cable along with the device itself. The Redmi Note 7S also follows the Aura design philosophy and the rear panel has been made of 2.5D curved glass, thus giving a comfortable hold. We also get to see the Corning Gorilla Glass on front and back. The display of the phone spans 6.3-inches, and it sports a full-HD+ resolution, and it also comes with a dot notch. The Redmi Note 7S also comes with P2i nano coating and water tight seals.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S: Performance

The Redmi Note 7S comes powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC which is clocked at the speed of 2.2GHz. The phone has also manged to peg an AnTuTu score of 1,47,256. The device also packs a massive 4,000mAh battery. On the lower edge of the phone, we finally get to see the USB Type-C port in this price segment, and the charger which comes in the box supports QuickCharge 2.0 (10W). Like some of the other Xiaomi phones, the Redmi Note 7S also comes with the IR blaster, and the device also retains the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S: Camera and Imaging

During the launch of the phone, Xiaomi Global VP, Manu Kumar Jain also detailed that the phone sports a 48MP camera sensor which is the highlight of the device. This 48MP camera bears a ½" sensor and has an f/1.8 aperture thus promising vibrant details on the clicked images. The camera also boasts of having 1.6-micron super pixel technology which merges four pixels into one, thus ensuring impressive detail in the pictures. The Redmi Note 7S also comes with a much-hyped night mode which combines all the above-mentioned quirks with AI optimisations.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S: Pricing and Availability in India

The Redmi Note 7S will come in two variants of 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM and+ 64GB storage and the 3GB/32GB variant will retail for Rs 10,999 while the 4GB/64GB variant will retail for Rs 12,999. The Redmi Note 7S will be available starting May 23, 2019, on Flipkart and Mi.com online store and the phone will soon be available on offline stores as well.
