SGRUTB09 Facility

The SGRUTB09 facility, currently in an advanced stage of construction, will offer 36 MW of IT capacity and is dedicated to a single hyperscale client in the cloud and content sector. Scala stated that the total investment for the project is USD 350 million, with additional funding coming from Scala and its investors.

SGRUTB09 is designed to support a mix of cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads, featuring Scala’s FutureProof design for scalable rack deployments. In line with Scala’s commitment to sustainability, the data center will have a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) below 1.3, a Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE) of zero, and will operate with carbon neutrality, the official release said.

Commitment to Sustainability

“The demand for digital infrastructure is growing exponentially, accelerated by the advancement of artificial intelligence. In response, we are proud to issue our third green debenture, reaffirming our unwavering commitment to sustainability. This strategic initiative not only allows us to efficiently finance the expansion of our data centers but also solidifies our position as leaders in sustainable and scalable technological solutions,” said Scala.
