Broadcom announced significant advancements across its VeloCloud product portfolio, alongside a new partner program to accelerate enterprise readiness for AI and non-AI workloads. The company unveiled a new network architecture, VeloRAIN, specifically tailored for distributed AI workloads; introduced new edge server appliances for VMware's VeloCloud cloud network service solution; launched "Titan," the Broadcom Advantage Partner Program for VeloCloud Managed Service Providers (MSPs); and released a "State of the Edge" report.
VeloCloud is an SD-WAN solution offered through managed service providers, supporting cloud-to-edge and multi-cloud edge deployments for enterprises, including AI operations and digital business transformations.

New VeloRAIN Architecture
The VeloRAIN (Robust AI Networking) architecture leverages AI/ML to optimise performance and security for distributed AI applications. VeloRAIN introduces smart application detection, enhanced network efficiency, and AI-driven dynamic policy frameworks, enabling enterprises to better manage and prioritise traffic across wireless and wired networks.
"VeloRAIN is the foundation of our AI networking innovation, empowering our entire portfolio to better address the demands of enterprise AI workloads," said Sanjay Uppal, vice president and general manager of the VeloCloud Division at Broadcom.
"By harnessing the advanced capabilities of VeloRAIN, AI workloads from distributed inferencing and agentic peer-to-peer applications to upstream heavy RAG transactions will see improved application-based QoE and security across all endpoints of the enterprise. We look forward to collaborating with our global partner ecosystem via Titan, our new partner program to provide more enterprises with the next generation of infrastructure necessary to support such current and future AI workloads," he added.
New VeloCloud Edge Appliances
Broadcom also introduced two new high-end AI-ready edge appliances, the VeloCloud Edge 4100 and 5100. These appliances cater to large enterprises, offering up to 100 Gbps throughput and the ability to connect up to 20,000 tunnels. The appliances are designed to support AI and non-AI workloads at scale with robust resilience and fast failover capabilities.
New Program for MSPs
To strengthen its ecosystem, Broadcom launched the Titan Partner Program for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), replacing the legacy VMware VeloCloud Partner Program. Titan offers a three-tiered structure—Pinnacle, Premier, and Registered—providing performance-based rewards, exclusive access to technology, and a flexible licensing model to help partners expand their services in the growing AI market.
