The device is confirmed to feature a BOE X2 display with a local refresh rate feature. Compared to the OnePlus 12, there should be many new advancements and features. Firstly, a better battery life due to the reportedly larger battery of 6000mAh that the device is expected to come with. Whether this design change to the camera module was done to enhance photos or just because OnePlus wanted a fresh look for its phone is unknown. The camera layout is similar to what we have been seeing from OnePlus 11. After its launch in China later this month, the device is expected to launch in India and other global markets around January 2024. Under the hood, the device is expected to feature up to 24GB of RAM. Whether this decision is to boost on-device AI performance or whether it is just to make the device flashy is unknown at the moment.
