Why 3G HSPA Services are not Widely Accepted by UsersIndia has seen a delayed 3G rollout. But the fact is 3G services are not getting that much of traction from customers. Many blame Govt. auction which hiked the 3G license and spectrum cost many times than the global average, and as a result operators cannot offer 3G data at a low cost.

All private operators are offering data plans at almost same price, and no price differentiation makes zero competition. State owned BSNL & MTNL offer 3G at a lower cost but too much issues and inadequate customer services keep users at a bay.

In coming days 4G services will be rolled out in India, it’s a time when 3G is still not mature, and there is no sign that 3G can gain many attraction before 4G launch. So why is 3G skipped by most users who are looking for faster internet access option?

TelecomTalk conducts a poll to find out the reasons behind the ignorance towards 3G.
