Another tariff buzz awaits IDEA Cellular's Punjab subscribers with the competition aging time. Operators intend to bring new and efficient tariff schemes to their subscribers.
One among these ongoing buzzes comes from IDEA Cellular Punjab, where one can recharge with Rs. 107 and get all local calls at 60p/min and all STD calls at 1 Re/min.
Idea Cellular has to be ready with such schemes in order to ensure its footsteps enter on a PAN India level. Currently its presence is in 18 out of 22 Telecom circles in the country.
It has over 47 million GSM mobile subscribers under brand IDEA.
While the company has licenses and spectrum to operate in all 22 service areas of India at present, it offers GSM mobile services in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar-Jharkhand, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh-Chattisgarh, Maharashtra-Goa, Mumbai, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu-Chennai, UP-East and UP-West telecom circles.
