Oppo Reno 2 is officially launching in India on August 28. The BBK Electronics sub-brand Oppo has started teasing the Reno 2 series launch in India on social media handles. Oppo also confirmed the Reno 2 series would be first launching in India. The Oppo Reno and Reno 10x Zoom made their debut in European markets first before making their appearance in the Indian market, however, that's not the case with the Reno 2 series as they'll be reaching the Indian market first before reaching other countries. Furthermore, Oppo also confirmed that the Reno 2 series would feature 20x zoom, but it did not confirm whether it's digital zoom or optical zoom like the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. Also, the Oppo Reno 2 series will feature quad cameras on the rear side.

Oppo Reno 2 Series: What We Know So Far?

Replacing its Oppo Find series of phones, Oppo, last year introduced Reno series of phones which will be the company's flagship lineup. The Oppo Reno 10x Zoon arrived with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Probably, the Oppo Reno 2 will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, which we found on the likes of OnePlus 7 Pro, Asus 6Z and Redmi K20 Pro.

As for the teaser posted by Oppo on Twitter, the Reno 2 series will have quad cameras on the back and will offer 20x Zoom feature. Like the Oppo Reno and Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, we might see two phones launching under the Reno 2 series this year as well. The Oppo Reno arrived with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset and this year's Reno 2 might feature the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chip which we found on the Redmi K20 smartphone.

The smartphone will be launching in India on August 28 and we're expecting the brand to reveal more details on social media platforms in the coming days.

Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Features and Specifications

The Oppo Reno and Reno 10x Zoom arrived a few months with flagship hardware on board. The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom is the company's flagship phone after the Oppo Find X which was also released last year. The phone featured a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

It has a 4065mAh battery and has support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. The handset runs Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS out of the box.
