Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today expands its 3G coverage in the state of Tamilnadu by launching its 3G mobile services in the textile & turmeric city of Erode which comes under Tamil Nadu telecom circle.The operator introduces next generation mobile services with lowest Video and Voice tariff plans for its postpaid and prepaid GSM mobile subscribers.
In an Exclusive talk with our Senior Editor BSNL Erode SSA’s Assistance General Manager--Marketing, Mr. Ramasamy K. quoted "BSNL 3G Mobile service is now available to all postpaid and prepaid subscribers of Erode City and urban areas of SSA. The 3G service will be gradually launched in all other areas of Erode SSA in next few days. BSNL 2G prepaid mobile subscribers can migrate to 3G service just by one SMS “M3G120” to 53733 while for Postpaid subscriber can send "M3G25" to 53733."
BSNL’s 3G mobile service includes Video calling, High Speed Internet connectivity up to 3.1 Mbps, Multimedia services such as sharing of digital photos and movies via wireless means including Live TV, Videos and Music downloads, Real-time multilayer gaming.It will also allow the users to install fring or skype on the Mobile Phone and make Free voice plus video calls to other mobiles having Fring or Skype anywhere in the world.
Recently state operator BSNL wrapped more than 320 cities with its 3G mobile and HSPA 3.75G Broadband Data service Network in various telecom circles and enrolled more than 8.5 Lakh 3G subscribers. Now the operator also geared up covering all the district headquarters and major towns across India. BSNL is the only service provider to procure the license to operate 3G services in India except Mumbai and Delhi region.
