Chinese smartphone brand, Vivo, will be launching the Vivo Z1 Pro in the Indian market very soon. At the ongoing PUBG Mobile India Regional finals, it has been confirmed the Vivo Z1 Pro will launch with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset. The phone will also pack a whopping 5000mAh battery and it'll be the company's first phone with a punch-hole display to debut in the sub-continent. Also, this is the first Vivo Z series phone to launch in India. As you might be aware of, Vivo is the official title sponsor for PUBG Mobile Open Club championship 2019 and all the players from India (16 teams) are currently playing the game on the Vivo Z1 Pro. In the teaser video which was played during the regional PUBG Mobile finals happening right now in New Delhi, it's also revealed the Z1 Pro will have a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display, 32MP selfie camera, triple rear cameras, gradient design and a Micro USB port.
Vivo Z1 Pro: Confirmed Specifications and Features
Vivo did not release the Z1 Pro in any market and India will the first one to get it. The Vivo Z1 Pro seems to be a capable mid-range smartphone considering the confirmed specifications. The Z1 Pro will be the first handset in India to launch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC. With the Z1 Pro, the Chinese company is going after the growing Indian gaming community as the phone will come with Multi Turbo feature which is basically a gaming mode that's promised to deliver clutter free gaming experience.
As for the confirmed specifications, the Z1 Pro sports a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display on the front with a punch-hole that houses the front-facing camera. Talking about the cameras, we get a 32MP selfie camera and AI-powered triple rear cameras. Unfortunately, Vivo did not reveal the presence of any 48MP camera on the rear side though. The fingerprint scanner is also present on the rear side.
Lastly, the Vivo Z1 Pro will come with a 5000mAh battery and a Micro USB port. Yes, Vivo is going to use a Micro USB port in 2019 and that too on a powerful mid-range smartphone. Also, the phone will have a dedicated hardware key to trigger the Jovi voice assistant.
Vivo Z1 Pro: Expected Pricing in India
As noted, Vivo did not launch the Z1 Pro smartphone in any market till date and India will be the first one to get the phone. Going by the hardware, the Vivo Z1 Pro will likely start retailing at Rs 29,999. Alongside the Z1 Pro, the company may also launch the Vivo Z1 smartphone as well with slightly downgraded hardware. Vivo India already confirmed the Z1 Pro would be exclusive to Flipkart in the sub-continent. If Vivo launches the Z series as an online-only lineup, then we might see aggressive pricing from the company.
