Samsung Galaxy A30 price in India has been reduced by Rs 1,500 and the phone can now be purchased at Rs 13,990. According to a 91mobiles report, the Galaxy A30 is already available at the reduced price across offline stores, while Amazon India and Samsung Online Store are still selling the phone at older prices. Alongside the Galaxy A30, the Galaxy A20 also received a price cut of up to Rs 1,000 and the current price is Rs 10,490. Notably, this is the second price cut from Samsung in as many as three months, which is disappointing as a lot of users have purchased the phones at their launch prices. Samsung's A series is dominating the mid-range segment as the company now has four phones priced between Rs 7,000 to Rs 20,000 with the latest one being the Galaxy A50 priced at Rs 18,490. The price cut on the Galaxy A30 might be an indication that the Galaxy A40 is coming soon and it will sit between the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy A30: Features and Specifications
Samsung's Galaxy A series of phones are aimed at the offline market, while the Galaxy M lineup takes care of the online market. The Galaxy A30 was launched a couple of months ago at a price of Rs 16,990 and it's already available at a discounted price of Rs 13,990. The Galaxy A30 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display on the front with Infinity-U type notch. Underneath, it has the company's own Exynos 9610 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Since the phone is aimed at the offline market, Samsung launched only one variant of the handset.
As for the cameras, the Galaxy A30 offers a 16MP primary shooter on the back paired with a 5MP depth sensor. Up front, there's a 16MP shooter and the phone runs Android 9 Pie. The phone is backed by a 4000mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy A20: Features and Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A20 is a slightly downgraded version of the Galaxy A30. On the front, the A20 packs a 6.4-inch HD+ display and it's powered by the Exynos 7884 chipset. Like the Galaxy A30, the Galaxy A20 also comes in a single variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone offers dual rear cameras of 13MP+5MP and an 8MP front-facing camera is available for selfies and video calls. The phone is armed with a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging technology.
As noted, the price cut on Galaxy A20 and A30 smartphones is already live across offline channels, while Amazon India and Samsung Online Store yet to reflect the new prices. It's unknown when the new prices will become effective in online platforms, but we're expecting to happen in the next couple of days.
