Tecno Camon iClick 2 With Dual 4G Launched in India: Price, Specifications and Availability

Tecno Mobiles, the sub-brand of Transsion Holding has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market earlier today, namely, the Tecno Camon iClick 2. This smartphone comes right after the launch of Tecno Camon i2X and as always, Tecno will be selling the new iClick 2 in the offline market. The highlights of the iClick 2 include a beefy 3750mAh battery, Dual 4G support, notched display and gorgeous design. The price of the smartphone has been set as Rs 13,499, which is a tad higher than the price of Tecno Camon i2X, mostly because of the superior cameras present on the iClick 2.

Tecno Camon iClick 2: Specifications and Features

The Camon iClick 2 shares most of its spec-sheet with the Camon i2X. The phone rocks a 6.2-inch HD+ display which has a 19:9 aspect ratio and 88% screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Tecno has added a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.

As for the connectivity options, the phone has Dual 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a Micro USB port. This entire package is backed by a beefy 3750mAh battery which lacks fast charging support. On the camera front, the iClick 2 has dual cameras of 13MP+5MP on the rear side. The camera app offers AI Bokeh mode and Super Pixel mode. The smartphone's name refers to a strong selfie camera as the phone rocks a 24MP shooter.

Even though the phone sports a bigger battery, Tecno has managed to keep the weight to 145 grams and the phone measures 7.8mm in thickness.

Tecno Camon iClick 2: Pricing and Launch Offers

Tecno Mobiles has confirmed that the iClick 2 will be available in three colour options- Aqua Blue, Midnight Black, and Hawaii Blue. The phone will be available at over 35,000 retail stores in India and it can be purchased in a single 4GB+64GB storage model.

Talking about the launch offers, Tecno Mobiles will provide a free screen replacement for the iClick 2 during the first 100 days. Also, the company has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer additional data of 50GB along with an instant cashback of Rs 2,250. Users will also get a one-year extended warranty with the phone, which takes the overall warranty to two years.

Tecno Camon iClick 2: Competitors in India

The Tecno Camon iClick 2 goes against the Vivo Y81 (4GB) which was launched earlier today at Rs 13,490. Vivo launched a new 4GB RAM variant of the Y81 which is also powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. Notably, Xiaomi has launched the cheapest Helio P22-powered smartphone at a price of Rs 7,999 in the form of Redmi 6. The Vivo Y81 also has a notched display on the front, runs the latest Android 8.1 Oreo and even offers Face Unlock feature.
