Now the Chinese company has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Vivo 11 Pro. The Vivo 11 Pro is the successor to the previous V9 which was the first phone to come with a notch in the Vivo V line-up. Vivo V11 Pro vs Vivo V9: Differences

Taking a first look at the Vivo V11 Pro, the most striking difference between the two comes in the sizes of the notches of the two phones. While the Vivo V9 comes with a larger notch taking up more area, the Vivo V11 Pro comes with a waterdrop style notch paving the way for a much better screen to body ratio. Also, in terms of design, the Vivo V11 Pro comes with an ombre coloured back panel which is a gradient while the previous model comes with a single tone colour option. The absence of the fingerprint sensor on the back of the Vivo V11 Pro lends it a more unibody aesthetic feel as compared to the predecessor.

In terms of the screen, there is a very minute difference between the two phones, while the V11 Pro sports a 6.4-inch screen the V9 comes with a 6.3-inch display. However, the V11 Pro gets a much more vibrant AMOLED panel instead of the IPS LCD which we get to see on the V9.

On the performance front also, the Vivo V11 Pro comes with visible improvements as the latest phone sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC while the predecessor gets the older Snapdragon 626 SoC. The RAM on the Vivo V11 Pro is 6GB while that on the Vivo V9 is only limited to 4GB. Owing to the presence of a much more efficient processor like the Snapdragon 660, the Vivo V11 Pro is expected to ship better performance and slightly improved battery life. The battery on the Vivo V11 Pro is a 3400mAh one while the previous phone is only limited to 3260mAh. On the software front, both the phones boot FunTouch OS based on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. Connectivity options on both the devices include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm jack, dual SIM, a dedicated microSD card slot and Micro USB port.

Vivo V11 Pro vs Vivo V9: Cameras

The Vivo V11 Pro features a dual rear camera setup comprising of 12MP+5MP sensors whereas; the V9 comes with a 16MP+5MP setup on the rear side. Many might waive the V9 to be a better shooter looking at the camera specs however the camera performance of both the phones is identical. On the front side, the Vivo V11 Pro gets a 25MP shooter while the V9 comes with a 24MP sensor.

For people looking to buy a new Android smartphone under the Rs 30,000 price tag should include the V11 Pro as their option. The V11 Pro comes with commendable specifications, latest in-display fingerprint tech and stunning design, all at a price of Rs 25,990. Also, for someone who wants to upgrade from the V9, this phone makes up for a pretty impressive choice as we get to see many improvements on the V11 Pro compared to the Vivo V9.
