Vivo V9 Youth is the latest smartphone to receive a price cut of Rs 1000 in India. Vivo has slashed the price of V9 Youth in India to Rs 16,990 from the earlier Rs 17,990. Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom posted this news on Twitter, but the e-commerce portals such as Amazon, Flipkart and even Vivo Shop are still selling the device at Rs 17,990. Maybe the price cut will be reflected on online portals in the next couple of days. This is the second price cut on Vivo V9 Youth in the last 40 days. The phone was originally launched in India for Rs 18,990 across online and offline portals, but on June 22, the price was reduced to Rs 17,990. And today, the price further got reduced to Rs 16,990, which still isn't enough to make it a decent buy when compared to the competition such as Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1.
