Samsung India has finally brought the Orchid Gray colour variant of the Galaxy Note 8 to the sub-continent, months after launching it. The new colour variant, which will be available on Samsung Shop Online, Samsung offline stores and retail stores and ships at Rs 67,900, which is on the steeper side considering the Galaxy S9+ is priced at Rs 64,900. However, with the Rs 10,000 cashback offer from Paytm, the new Orchid Gray colour variant of the Note 8 will be down to Rs 57,900. The new variant also comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, same as the earlier launched Midnight Black and Maple Gold colour options.

The classy and suave Orchid Gray colour will give consumers another great reason to buy Galaxy Note8 and express their own personal style."
The Orchid Gray colour variant launch of the Note 8 comes after the launch of Burgundy Red colour variant launch of the Galaxy S8 last week. Samsung is known for launching new colour variants of its older smartphones every year and the same continues.
Do make a note that the specifications of the Galaxy Note 8 remain unchanged except the new colour. The Galaxy Note 8 still sports the same 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960 × 1440 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Internally, it's powered by Samsung's own Exynos 8895 processor, mated to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card.
The device has already received Android 8.0 Oreo update in India, but we're not sure whether it's coming preinstalled out of the box. This dual-SIM smartphone offers 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C 3.1, NFC, and GPS. It's backed by a 3300mAh battery with fast charging support. The device has IP68 water and dust resistant properties along with IRIS scanner for unlocking the device.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was the company's first smartphone with dual rear cameras when it launched. The Note 8 sports two 12MP sensors and both the sensors offer Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The secondary 12MP sensor has a telephoto lens and 2X Optical Zoom. An 8MP front-facing camera is present on the front for selfies and videos calls. The Note 8 also has S Pen support.
