Samsung has already confirmed to launch the Galaxy S9 duo at the MWC 2018 event on February 25. Courtesy of Evan Blass, the first press render of the Galaxy S9, and S9+ are now leaked online. And the image shows similar design as the earlier generation flagship devices- Galaxy S8 and S8+. But the bottom bezels are slightly thinner, which is the major difference from the front between last iteration devices.

However, the rear side of the phones are not visible in this image, but Blass confirmed that the rear design would be in-line with earlier leaked renders. The rear design will be different when compared to last generation flagship smartphones. Firstly, the fingerprint scanner placement will be different as it will be now placed below the rear camera module, unlike the side placement on the S8 and S8+.

Also, the camera design will be different from the S8 and S8+. Furthermore, Blass posted complete specifications of the upcoming devices. Like the last generation devices, the Galaxy S9 and the S9+ will sport a 5.8-inch QHD+ and 6.2-inch QHD+ displays. Also, the differences between both the phones will differ a lot.

The Galaxy S9 will come with a single rear camera setup, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. And the Galaxy S9+ will sport dual camera setup at the back, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The major upgrade in the S9 and S9+ will be the cameras.

As the official event teaser hints, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are said to offer next-gen cameras. While the S9 is said to have a single 12MP sensor, the S9+ will feature two 12MP sensors at the back like the Galaxy Note 8. It's good to see Samsung differentiating both the phones.

Talking about the cameras, both the phones will have variable aperture from f/2.4 to f/1.5, just like the Samsung W2018 flip phone. Also, the rear camera can record slow-motion videos of 720p at 480fps resolution. A recent FCC filing also revealed that both the phones would sport similar battery capacities as the Galaxy S8 and S8+. A 3000mAh battery will be present on the Galaxy S9, and a 3500mAh battery will adorn the Galaxy S9+.

With that said, we're now left with the pricing information itself. Both the phones will be out on February 25 and rumoured to go on sale starting March 15, 2018.
