Amazon India has been exclusively selling smartphones from various brands such as Motorola, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Samsung, LG, etc. But the company now has its own smartphone in the form of 10.or D. With this move, Amazon is also looking to rival its e-commerce giant, Flipkart which recently entered the smartphone market with the Flipkart Billion Capture+.

10.or D Specifications

As stated, the 10.or D is a smartphone aiming at killing the Xiaomi Redmi 5A. The 10.or D flaunts a 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC. The device runs Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, and the interface is close to stock Android. 10.or also promised an upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo in the future, which makes it a unique smartphone.

A fingerprint scanner is present at the back of the phone, below the 13MP rear camera module. Up front, 10.or has added a 5MP selfie shooter for all the selfie lovers out there.

The 10.or D comes in two variants- one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and the other one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Another highlight of the 10.or D is the 3500mAh battery under the hood, which is rated to offer 25 hours of talk time on 3G. The specifications of the 10.or D are pretty much similar to those of the Redmi 5A, but the permanent price of the smartphone is the Rs 4,999, unlike Redmi 5A's 5 million units price tag.

10.or D Pricing and Availability

Like I said, the 10.or D comes in two configurations. The biggest USP of the 10.or D is the price. The base 2GB RAM and 16GB model costs just Rs 4,999, and the premium 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage model costs Rs 5,999. Also, Amazon Prime customers will get an additional one-year warranty.

The device will be exclusively available on Amazon India, and the first sale of the device is scheduled for January 5, 12 PM.
