Huawei Honor 7X With 18:9 Bezel-Less Display Officially Confirmed to Launch on October 11

Huawei' sub-brand Honor officially confirmed that it will launch the Honor 7X mid-range smartphone on October 11. Although this launch at the moment is in China, the company will launch the device in India by the end of this year or early next year. Huawei's Honor 6X is still one of the best mid-range camera smartphones available in the Indian market right now.

Huawei officially sent out media invites of the Honor 7X, which confirmed that the device will come with an 18:9 bezel-less display. Well, this could be the first Honor smartphone to come with an 18:9 bezel-less display. Huawei recently launched the Huawei Maimang 6 smartphone in China, which came out with an 18:9 display and four camera setup. That said, the Maimang 6 is a Huawei smartphone, and the Honor 7X is its sub-brand Honor smartphone.

Huawei has never launched its mid-range devices in the Indian market because the company operates with Honor in the mid-range and upper mid-range segment. In India though, Huawei launches its P series of flagship smartphones, and some other entry-level devices, which never gain consumer's attention.

Right after Huawei media invite, a rumour popped online with the specifications of Honor 7X. The Honor 7X will feature an 18:9 FHD+ display, same as the Maimang 6. The device will sport complete unimetal body, same as its predecessor Honor 6X.

At the back of the phone, the Huawei Honor 7X will have a dual camera setup, which might of two 12MP sensors with one RGB sensor and one monochrome sensor. At the back of the phone, there will be a fingerprint scanner, below the rear camera module.

The Huawei Honor 7X is expected to be fuelled by the company's in-house HiSilicon Kirin 670 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device is expected to run Android Nougat based EMUI out of the box, and it is said to sport a massive 4000mAh battery.

As said earlier, Huawei will bring this smartphone to India sometime later this year or early next year. It's interesting to see how Huawei prices this smartphone. Also, these are just rumoured specifications, so take this report with a pinch of salt.
