Japanese electronics brand, Sony has launched its latest flagship phone in the Indian market. The Sony Xperia XZ1 was originally launched before the IFA 2017 event earlier this month. Alongside the XZ1, Sony also launched a mid-range Xperia XA1 Plus smartphone, which recently launched at Rs. 24,990 in the Indian market. As seen with earlier Sony flagship smartphones, the XZ1 also packs a punch when it comes to cameras, especially the rear camera in the XZ1 is innovative.

Sony has added a 19MP Motion Eye camera to the Xperia XZ1, which is the world's first smartphone to capture images in 3D with the in-built 3D creator. Basically, the 3D Creator lets you capture images in 3D, and even allows you to print them in 3D. Besides the 3D Creator, the rear camera is capable of shooting slow motion videos at an insane 960fps. The Xperia XZ1 has a 13MP front-facing camera.

Coming to the standard specifications of the Xperia XZ1, it has a 5.2-inch Full HD display with Sony's additions such as X-reality Engine and TRILUMINIOUS. Also, this Full HD display is fully HDR enabled. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, which is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Another highlight of the Xperia XZ1 is that it ships with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, and becomes the first smartphone apart from Google Pixels and Nexus devices to boot Android Oreo. The Xperia XZ1 has a 2700mAh backing it with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology.

There are connectivity options in the device such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port.

Lastly, we have some sensible pricing from Sony. The Sony Xperia XZ1 is priced at Rs. 44,990 in the Indian market and the device will be available starting today. What do you think of the pricing of Sony? Will be worth purchasing the Xperia XZ1 for Rs. 44,990. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
