Japanese electronics brand, Sony has launched its latest flagship phone in the Indian market. This is the third flagship phone from Sony this year to launch in India after the Sony Xperia XZs and the Xperia XZ Premium. The Xperia XZ1 acts as a successor to the Xperia XZs and brings in upgrades to the design, camera, and spec-sheet.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 was originally launched before the IFA 2017 event earlier this month. Alongside the XZ1, Sony also launched a mid-range Xperia XA1 Plus smartphone, which recently launched at Rs. 24,990 in the Indian market. As seen with earlier Sony flagship smartphones, the XZ1 also packs a punch when it comes to cameras, especially the rear camera in the XZ1 is innovative.
Sony has added a 19MP Motion Eye camera to the Xperia XZ1, which is the world’s first smartphone to capture images in 3D with the in-built 3D creator. Basically, the 3D Creator lets you capture images in 3D, and even allows you to print them in 3D. Besides the 3D Creator, the rear camera is capable of shooting slow motion videos at an insane 960fps. The Xperia XZ1 has a 13MP front-facing camera.
Coming to the standard specifications of the Xperia XZ1, it has a 5.2-inch Full HD display with Sony’s additions such as X-reality Engine and TRILUMINIOUS. Also, this Full HD display is fully HDR enabled. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, which is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
