Samsung now officially announced the Galaxy J7+ in Thailand. The device is already up for pre-order in the country, while the first sale will take place on September 18. The smartphone is priced at THB 12,900 (approx. Rs. 25,000) and comes in a single variant.

Diving into the specifications of the Galaxy J7+, it is built out of metal and resembles other Samsung smartphones launched recently. There's a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display up front with Samsung's Always-On display feature. Below the display, there are three capacitive hardware keys, and the fingerprint scanner is integrated into the home button.

Internally, the smartphone is powered by the mid-range MediaTek Helio P20 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card. It's a bit surprising that Samsung has gone with a MediaTek chipset, instead of choosing a Snapdragon chipset. However, in recent times, Samsung has launched more MediaTek chipset smartphones than Snapdragon chipsets.

The J7+ will be available in three colour options- black, gold, and pink. Samsung is yet to announce the availability of J7+ in other markets including India.
