Two weeks ago, Motorola’s roadmap for the entire 2017 had surfaced online which suggested two mystery smartphones- the Moto G5s and the Moto G5s Plus. Going by their names, both the phones will be the successors to the Moto G5 and G5 Plus. But Motorola released the G5 and G5 Plus just two months ago and why did the company is already planning successors to it? Well, only Motorola can answer this question.

Since the Moto G5s and the Moto G5s Plus are successors to Moto G5 and G5 Plus, they will feature better hardware and other changes as well. The first renders of the Moto G5s and the Moto G5s Plus now surfaced online, courtesy of Android Authority and Gear India.
Unlike the Moto G5 series which arrived with metal back and polycarbonate frame surrounding it, the G5s and G5s Plus will boast of a complete metal body including the side metal frame. However, the design of both the phones is similar to the Moto G5 series, but the entire metal body paved the way for antenna band lines at the back.
As the roadmap suggested earlier, the Moto G5s Plus will feature a dual camera setup at the back, and it may be the first Moto smartphone to feature so. The dual camera is aided with a dual-tone LED flash for adding more light to the images. Nevertheless, the camera resolution is still unknown. The G5s Plus will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display and a fingerprint scanner below the screen, which also doubles as a home key.
