Microsoft Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL expected to be launched in India in April

The Microsoft Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL, which were unveiled during the MWC 2015, might be launched in India sometime in April. Currently, Microsoft is importing stocks of these devices into India, and according to an import tracking website, the Lumia 640 shows a price of Rs. 4,683, while the Lumia 640 XL shows a price of Rs. 6,710. However, you should note that these prices will not be actual MRPs of these devices, and the final prices will be higher.

The Microsoft Lumia 640 features a 5-inch IPS LCD display protected by Gorilla Glass 3, Windows Phone 8.1, quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, microSD card slot, 8-megapixel primary camera with 1080p video recording, 1-megapixel secondary camera, dual-SIM connectivity, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and a 2,500 mAh battery.

The Microsoft Lumia 640 XL, which is a beefed up version of the Lumia 640, features the same specifications, except that it gets a boost in the screen size, camera, and battery capacity. It features a 5.7-inch display, 13-megapixel primary camera with Carl Zeiss optics, 5-megapixel secondary camera, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
