The new packs – priced at Rs. 149 for each country - offers up to 97% discount on outgoing and incoming call charges to and from India while on international roaming on select operators as well as data usage and SMS facility.
Aircel’s new international roaming packs will now prove to be a boon for all those travelling abroad for work or leisure who found that staying connected using their existing India number, often resulted in hefty mobile phone bills or incessant heavy recharges. The launch of this attractive international roaming scheme makes Aircel the first mobile service provider in India to offer an international roaming pack for only Rs. 149, with call charges (outgoing and incoming), data and SMS charges - all at just Rs. 5 per minute for 5 days while on roaming in the USA or Sri Lanka.

In order to ensure maximum convenience to subscribers, Aircel has enabled recharging or renewal of the international roaming pack beyond its validity of five days in case one wishes to prolong the stay in the visited country. Furthermore, customers can also have more than one plan activated.
