HTC Desire 820 and HTC Desire 820Q launched in India for Rs. 24,990 and Rs. 22,500 respectively

After unveiling the Desire 820 and the Desire 820Q during their pre-IFA 2014 event last month, HTC has launched them in India for Rs. 24,990 and Rs. 22,500 respectively. Both these mid-range smartphones are differentiated only by their processors, GPU and the RAM capacity. The Desire 820 features an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor while the Desire 820Q features a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor.

The HTC Desire 820 feature a 5.5-inch HD LCD display, a 13-megapixel autofocus cameras with LED flash and 1080p video recording, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 1080p video recording. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage space, microSD card slot, BoomSound stereo speakers on the front, Android 4.4 KitKat, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n, and a 2,600 mAh battery.

The HTC Desire 820Q comes with a 5.5-inch HD LCD display, a 13-megapixel autofocus cameras with LED flash and 1080p video recording, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 1080p video recording. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage space, microSD card slot, BoomSound stereo speakers on the front, Android 4.4 KitKat, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n, and a 2,600 mAh battery.

Both these smartphones will be available in India starting from November 5. They will compete with Sony Xperia C3 and the Sony Xperia T3.
