After Lenovo, Gionee becomes yet another brand which has cautioned Indian consumers against buying its devices from e-commerce stores. The smartphone brand clarifies that these e-commerce stores aren't authorised resellers of Gionee smartphones. But these brands do not understand that a lot of their authorised resellers from brick and mortar stores are the ones who are selling devices on online marketplaces like Flipkart, SnapDeal, Ebay, Amazon, etc.

Gionee says that the best way for consumers to buy its devices are through its official e-store or over 20,000 offline retail stores across the country. What do you guys think? Have you been denied service for a Gionee device that you've bought from an e-commerce store? Share your experiences and thoughts of buying smartphones, tablets and relates products online with us.
