I feel the plans are not as bad..
    Compare it with Uninor..
Uninor debits a rental of Rs2 per day and gives all Local @30p. STD 50p.
Virgin deducts Rs1.5 per day and gives all local @40p,STD @50p. But the best part is that it gives all Local and more important, all STD calls to Virgin CDMA and GSM @20p which is damn cheap.Noone provides STD on-net at this rate.
If you don’t want to pay rental you can switch any number of times to per second plan by recharging with Rs 12 which gives Rs10.88 talktime too. Then again when needed you can recharge with Rs 13 which again converts to per minute plan with talktime.. So if used judiciously it is quite good…

And if they Think because of 20 paisa virgin to virgin would be considered by customers then Docomos buddy net at 31 Rs rent fo a Month and Calls at 10 paisa is much better also reliance offers 20 paisa calls Onnet. Virgin has really come up with a rubbish offer.

  • Shoeb January 22, 2010 at 5:21 pm

Who the hell wil pay a rent of 1.50 every day thats more than 46.5 Rs every month if You dont do a Full talk time recharge. This is Real crap from Virgin.. Reliance pay per call or pay per min is much better without any rent. And also instead we can use Docomo at 1 paisa for 2 seconds with the rate cutter which would be much better than This Virgin mobile.

Daily Rental of Rs.1.50 is quite expensive. Means It comes to Rs. 45/month that equation settles to Rs.540/year. For 540rs in cell one has to shed around 600rs liquid cash from his/her pocket.

better than uninor Rs2 per day

virgn charging 45/month for 40 ps/min rates. not better than uninor. uninor 60/m reduces call rates to 29ps/min. even docomo charges 45/month for their 30ps/min rates. so virgn is costly.

Very nice plan…. But existing Tata Docomo network has very poor network quality, Call drops , Not reachable even if range is full, Less tower, less coverage, always busy in evening hours, And Now Virgin has launched GSM service by using Docomo network. So now Worst network problem is going to occured. So improve the mobile network of Tata Docomo first in Maharashtra circle now..
