TATA Indicom is Now TATA DOCOMO

Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL), the country’s youngest and fastest-growing pan-India dual-technology telecom services provider, has adopted a future-facing strategic for its wide range of products and services and reach out to customers with one common or uniform brand—Tata DOCOMO — cutting across the CDMA and GSM platforms.

With this move, brand Tata DOCOMO now moves into the CDMA space, and all Tata Indicom customers shall be migrated to Tata DOCOMO from tomorrow.

Tata DOCOMO believes that phones are not just for talking and the new strategic approach will bring in the full might of TTL’s telecom experience to customers through an elevation in the promise from ‘only telecom’ to seamless Access, relevant Content and differentiated Solutions.

As part of the new strategy, TTL is integrating the many different market opportunities and empowering the customer—with a single-point brand interface for a seamless user experience. The company has consolidated all organizational assets—spectrum, retail touch-points, digital footprint and consumer franchises across technology platforms under a single brand, Tata DOCOMO.

The migration of services to the unified Tata Docomo brand will happen in Delhi-NCR and in other circles at a later date. This will not impact TTL’s Indicom, Photon and Walky consumers in Delhi as they will continue to get the same quality of service as in the past.

@sindhu priya, I had ported my Indicom no to Tata gsm in 2012 feb . I had a plan for indicom no: 1p/sms, 1p/sec, 1rs/5min for night call n this all for 5 years. But as I ported to gsm, that plan was not continued for my gsm no. Better you visit tatadocomo.com/ official store of tata tele n only after confirmation port to gsm. Better you keep the cdma no n opt for new 2nd no – gsm. This is i m suggesting – because 2g rates for gsm are very high while cdma is cheap . N cdma… Read more »

I have been using Tata Docomo’s Prepaid Photon Plus for about three years in Lucknow, U.P. They provided me with a signal antenna booster free of cost to improve signal strength as earlier the service was quite poor. Photon Plus provides better and more stable CDMA data Net connectivity than the crap BSNL landline broadband.

Tata Docomo on CDMA (erstwhile Tata Indicom) has launched STV 23 where user on Recharging with Rs. 23 gets ALL local and STD calls at 1p/2 sec across all networks for 30 days! This pack is available in all circles. Superb!

Apart from this there is STV 198 on Tata Docomo CDMA which offers 600 minutes (36000 sceonds for pay per Second) for ALL Network Local and STD calls for 30 days..

@shivaji rao
@ SHIVAJI why do you want to pay for a FULL MINUTE when you can pay PER SECOND?
1p/2sec is much cheaper than 30p/min
>> why tata docomo gsm not having per minute plan when tata indicom and virgin has both per sec and per min and when the whole telecom industry has both per sec and per min? injustice and wrong attitude by tata docomo gsm.

Mr ‘D’ all tariff option should be there, all other operators offering per min and per sec plans, even 20p/min or 25p/min plans are also there in some circles/operators.
