State-owned Pan India 3G Mobile service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has entered into a strategic alliance with Datawind, the company behind the low-cost Aakash and UBiSlate tablets to launch four co-branded 2G and 3G Android tablets with bundled data offers.
Datawind along with BSNL will shortly roll out a slew of BSNL co-branded Android tablets which include UbiSlate 7C+, UbiSlate 7CX, UbiSlate 7CZ and UbiSlate 3G7.
The UbiSlate 7Cx is the cheapest among these priced at Rs.3999, which comes with a 7-inch capactive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor and runs on Android 4.0 (ICS). It also comes with 2G (EDGE) connectivity.
The Datawind Ubislate 7C+ tablet prices at Rs.4999 runs on the 4.0.3 Android ICS that is the outdated version of Android operating system. The Ubislate 7C+ powered by Cortex A8 processor that is clocked at 1 GHz. The graphic processor is MALI-400 GPU and the tablet supports G-sensor.
The RAM size of this tablet is 512 MB. The storage capacity of the device is 4 GB in which only 1.4 GB is user available. You can extend the storage capacity up to 32 GB via microSD card.The connectivity features are 2G, Wi-Fi, microUSB, GPRS and EDGE. You can also enjoy the 3G connectivity via USB.
The UbiSlate 3G7 priced at Rs.6999 also has a 7-inch capactive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor and runs on Android 4.0 (ICS). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It also has 3G data connectivity, WiFi and Bluetooth support.
