There's no update from Xiaomi on the launch date of the Redmi Note 5, but a new concept video appeared online suggests a stunning design for the budget smartphone. Based on the previous leaks, YouTube channel – Science and Knowledge created this video, but again, this is just a fan-made video, and there's no involvement of Xiaomi. As you can see in the images, the Redmi Note 5 has small bezels on the top and bottom. These images are in-line with a recent report which also suggested small bezels on the front.

The bezels on the front are smaller than the ones we saw on the Redmi 5 and the Redmi 5 Plus smartphones. While the front of the phone suggests an incredible design, the rear of the phone has the same Redmi Note 4 look. But the massive change as you can see is the dual camera setup.

Yes, all the rumours till date have suggested that Xiaomi will employ dual camera setup at the back of the Redmi Note 5, and this concept video reveals the same. Overall, the design of the Note 5 is stunning in this video, and if the original device looks anything like will be a head-turner in the budget segment.

Speaking of the internals, the Redmi Note 5 was recently rumoured to come in two variants- one with Snapdragon 630 SoC and the other one with Snapdragon 636 SoC. But surely, this won't happen as Xiaomi never launched a same Redmi device with different chipsets. Also, rumours say that Xiaomi is waiting for Qualcomm to announce the Snapdragon 632 SoC and the Redmi Note 5 will be the first device to make use of it.

Other rumoured specifications of the Note 5 include a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, same as the Redmi 5 Plus. A 16MP primary camera will be present at the back of the phone, which will be coupled to a 5MP secondary camera. The overall package could be backed by a 4100mAh battery. Also, the phone will boot MIUI 9 out of the box.

As stated, we're not sure when Xiaomi is planning to launch the Redmi Note 5 in both the Indian market and Chinese market. But the launch is not too far as the phone already received 3C certification in China, hinting the imminent launch.
