It was a long way coming. As we have reported several times earlier regarding the Vodafone India’s revamp of their postpaid plans to stay in the competition, we now came out with the exclusive information regarding these schemes.
Yes, Vodafone is modifying their ‘Vodafone RED’ postpaid plans in coming days. Our source also revealed what the telecom company is going to launch. They are not announcing any new plan under the RED scheme, but completely revamping the three affordable plans.

The cheapest plan under the Vodafone RED is the Rs. 499 one, which previously offered 1GB of data and unlimited local and STD calls. But, the yet-to-be revamped plan will offer 1GB of normal data along with other 2GB of 4G data.
The same applies with the Rs. 699 plan as it previously offered just 2.5GB of data, but will soon offer 5GB of data with the other 2.5GB data being offered in the form of 4G data. The Rs. 999 plan, right now offers a mere 5GB of data and the revamped one will offer the usual 5GB of data and the other 3GB will be offered in the form of 4G data.

Apart from this, customers whoever joins in Vodafone and gets a new 4G handset will get additional 9GB of 4G data. There are no more changes to these plans apart from the data hike for each plan. All the local and STD calls will be free for that particular bill period, and roaming incoming calls are free as well.
