Vodafone RED Postpaid Plans Now Offer 60GB Welcome Gift for Six Months

Since the start of the new quarter on July 1, 2017, Vodafone India has been aggressively launching new plans every now and then. The company rolled out a Rs. 244 plan for prepaid customers, and now, the operator has made some changes to its Vodafone RED postpaid plans.

Vodafone's RED postpaid plans go against Airtel's myPlan Infinity postpaid plans. Both the operator's plans start from Rs. 499, and goes all the way up to Rs. 2,999. Incidentally, both the operators are offering free data for new users. However, Vodafone has now revised the free data offer to stay ahead of Airtel. Here's everything you need to know about Vodafone's new RED postpaid plans.

1) Vodafone RED 499 Plan

Vodafone's entry-level RED 499 plan offers 5GB data per month, along with a 60GB welcome gift free data. This plan also gives unlimited local and STD calls, however, users will be charged normal rates for outgoing roaming calls.

2) Rest of the plans

Apart from the RED 499 plan, all other plans offer similar benefits, minus the bigger data with a premium plan. All the plans offer unlimited voice calls which include both roaming incoming and outgoing calls. Check out the data offering for all the plans.

3) 100 SMS Per Billing Cycle

All the above-mentioned Vodafone RED postpaid plans offer 100 local and national SMS per billing cycle, which is a welcome addition.

What is Welcome Data?

Vodafone India is offering free 60GB welcome data for all the new Vodafone RED postpaid plan joiners. So, the 60GB data will be split into 10GB data per month for six months. That said, all the RED postpaid plans offer welcome data.

1) Red Shield: Device Security
Same as Bharti Airtel which is offering Airtel Secure, Vodafone is offering Red Shield, which has similar benefits that of the Airtel Secure scheme. Vodafone Red Shield plan protects your smartphone from theft, physical or liquid damage, and virus at just Rs. 60 per month.

2)Free Netflix Subscription
Vodafone is also offering free Netflix subscription with some of its RED postpaid plans. Customers whoever subscribers the Vodafone RED 1299 and above plans are eligible to get the free Netflix subscription.

  • Vodafone RED 1299 and RED 1600- 2 months subscription
  • Vodafone RED 1999- 3 months RED subscription
  • Vodafone RED 2999- 12 months free subscription

Having said that, Vodafone is offering some of the best postpaid plans right now, and both Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel would face a serious threat from Vodafone in coming days.
