First MNO Partners: Bell Canada and Telenor

Verizon Business announced that it has secured Bell Canada and Telenor as its first international Mobile Network Operator (MNO) partners for the new global IoT platform. Collaborating with these MNOs will allow seamless connectivity and enhanced technical capabilities for IoT devices operating across different global regions.

IoT Connectivity with Global IoT Orchestration

"With Verizon Global IoT Orchestration, devices operating in multiple global regions will be able to connect natively via an eSIM profile from one of Verizon's international carrier partners and operate just like a network subscriber in that partner's service footprint, adding the partner's full technical, commercial and multi-network coverage capabilities and enabling solutions that require local connectivity," stated Verizon Business.

Customers can effectively manage multinational eSIM connectivity in the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region through the MNO partnerships with Bell Canada and Telenor. The company also stated that additional MNO eSIM partners covering more territories globally will be revealed in the coming months.

IoT Solutions Across Borders

The telco announced that the introduction of Verizon Global IoT Orchestration responds to the growing demand for IoT connectivity that transcends geographical boundaries. By leveraging native eSIM provisioning, IoT devices can maintain seamless connectivity across international borders, similar to a US customer crossing state lines. This negates the need to solely rely on traditional roaming services in global markets.
