Reliance Jio, India's largest telecom operator, has become the first player to launch Netflix bundled prepaid plans. You can already get a Netflix subscription for free with several Jio postpaid mobile and fiber broadband plans. But with the launch of two new plans, Jio will also be offering its prepaid mobile customers an opportunity to get a free subscription to Netflix. Netflix is one of the most popular OTT (over-the-top) content platforms globally but is also very expensive in context to the Indian market. However, now users can get it at no additional cost if they are Reliance Jio prepaid mobile service subscribers. Let's go through the two new prepaid plans from Jio that bring Netflix to customers.
Reliance Jio Netflix Bundled Prepaid Plans
Reliance Jio Rs 1099 Plan - The first newly launched from Jio for its prepaid customers is the Rs 1099 plan. With this plan, customers get 2GB of daily data, unlimited 5G data under the 5G Welcome Offer, unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS/day and Jio apps. The validity of this plan is 84 days. With this plan, users will be entitled to receive a free subscription to Netflix Mobile.
Reliance Jio Rs 1499 Plan - The Rs 1499 plan from Reliance Jio will offer customers 84 days of validity, 3GB of daily data, unlimited voice calling, unlimited 5G data under the 5G Welcome Offer, 100 SMS/day and Jio apps. For the most part, this plan looks very similar to that of the Rs 1099 plan, except for offering more data. However, with the Rs 1499 plan, users will get access to a Netflix Basic subscription at no additional cost.
So the major difference between the two plans is that the Rs 1499 plan offers more data, and then you get Netflix Basic with the Rs 1499 plan and Netflix Mobile with the Rs 1099 plan.
