Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has two popular broadband plans on its portfolio right now. These plans have been marked ‘popular’ by BSNL on the website. The state-run telco has likely seen more demand for these two plans because they bundle additional benefits for the consumers or are just a good value deal. The two plans that we are talking about come for Rs 849 and Rs 999 per month. Note that the pricing here doesn’t reflect the addition of taxes. Let’s check out the benefits of these two plans from BSNL.

BSNL Rs 849 Broadband Plan
The Rs 849 broadband plan comes with up to 100 Mbps of speed and 3.3TB of monthly data. Beyond the data limit, the speed reduces to 10 Mbps for the consumers. Along with this, customers also get a free fixed-line voice calling connection with unlimited calling benefit. But the user must purchase the landline instrument him/herself. This is all you get with the plan. In hindsight, BSNL’s 100 Mbps plan is quite expensive compared to the offerings from Jio and Airtel. There’s a cheaper 100 Mbps plan for Rs 799 per month with OTT benefits, but it comes with 1TB of data and not 3.3TB.
BSNL Rs 999 Broadband Plan
The Rs 999 broadband plan from BSNL comes with up to 150 Mbps of internet speed with up to 2TB of monthly data. Beyond the data limit, the speed reduces to 10 Mbps for the consumers. Users also get access to unlimited voice calling benefit. But again, they have to purchase the landline instrument separately.
