Six new channel licenses issued, total number of channels in India has reached 832

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has issued licenses to six new television channels, taking the total number of television channels in the country to 832. BARC India defines rules for usage of television ratings in public domain

MSOs Approach TRAI Over interconnect agreements

MIB asks MSOs to sign an affidavit, a move to hide its license delay
