BSNL is now following the footsteps of private telcos as the PSU is looking to generate some revenues. Earlier, we reported that BSNL would be implementing voice calling cap at 250 minutes per day on unlimited combo prepaid plans starting August 19, 2019. We thought that only the long-validity combo plans from the telco would be affected with this move, however, that’s not the case as all the plans with ‘Unlimited’ offering will limit the voice calls. There are a total of 22 unlimited combo prepaid plans which now limit the voice calls. Private telcos used to limit voice calls on a daily and weekly basis earlier, but after the introduction of VoLTE or Voice over LTE service, they started providing unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit to match Reliance Jio. If you’re in search for the list of BSNL prepaid plans which fall under the new voice calling cap, then continue reading this article for more information.
