While idea cellular is still offering a flavour of it's old postpaid plans along with the newly introduced !plan, airtel totally dumped off the old postpaid plans to new postpaid customers and boarded on to these so called flexible plans along with few mandatory plans.

Airtel had initially launched these plans for postpaid users and idea cellular quickly replicated these for it's postpaid users while still offering other plans as well unlike airtel. After a very long gap, airtel then introduced myplan business for it's corporate employees as well with an intention to increase the ARPU. Finally airtel tried to innovate the market by spreading the wings of my plan to it's prepaid customers as well.

Timeline of Airtel myplan and Idea !plan we reported on TT:

  1. October 11, 2013 - Exclusive: Airtel Now Offers Its Postpaid Customers The Freedom To Make Their Own Postpaid Mobile Plan (myPlan)
  2. December 28, 2013 - Exclusive : Idea Cellular launches i-Plan, Replicates Airtel myPlan with similar Offerings
  3. July 12, 2014 - Airtel launches myPlan Business for Corporate Employees
  4. August 3, 2014 - Exclusive : First Look at Airtel Prepaid My Pack

We now have come up with a poll to provide an opportunity to Customers especially to TelecomTalk Readers to provide your valuable feedback on the above said plans.

Once we receive considerable responses that can be taken into consideration we will come up with poll result in the form of a small analysis based on feedbacks received.

Thanks for your time and inputs in advance.

*Note: Only Airtel , Idea Cellular provides these kind of plans as of now.
