@Prasath J
The Corby Speed is an OMH Handset, which means there is no locking of any kind. You could use it with the OMH SIM cards of any CDMA operator- Tata, Reliance, Virgin, MTS or BSNL.
@Sanjay Bafna
I hear some folks are getting it for as low as 8600, i guess depends on the location and retailer.

@ANAND
This Mobile is totally crap, the video you watch on this phone is very small 176 x 144 and full screen loses the quality of the video as compared to the GSM Samsung Corby, the document reader has a limited visibility that means the pdf is not readable and still it is have a pdf reader this function is also of no use, though all this functions make this mobile a total failure and waste of money.
saket December 30, 2009 at 6:17 pm
dont comment without knwldge.
tata and reliance do provide OMH sim card.
even MTS also do.
plz check in cities whr evdo startd.
it may take time to reach remote places
Naeem Rehman December 30, 2009 at 5:20 pm
Samsung Corby Speed CMDA is of no use as its uses OMH Technologies for Data Transer so you cant use any data services with the normal tata or reliance sim card.Both Reliance and Tata does not provide the OMH Enabled Ruim as claimed by the samsung so dont waste money on the new samsung OMH handset as you wont we able to use all the new features
ANAND December 30, 2009 at 3:45 pm

What is the price of this phone??
motta December 29, 2009 at 8:08 pm
Great to see an open market evdo phone..(Must be the first of it’s kind)..
Why are other GSM operators not crying foul on it.. Even though they are sharing their spectrum from their allocated 2g spectrum.. They are now providing it on their phones after evdo data cards(photon and broad band +)… Which makes them way ahead of gsm counterparts.. No regulatory Issues? Any one know?
gaurav December 29, 2009 at 8:00 pm
great offer …browsing experience with this handset will improve many times when compared to current handsets . what is cost of this handset?????
zareef December 29, 2009 at 7:09 pm
Nice offer… Why not unlimited downloade at night time
Prasath J December 29, 2009 at 6:32 pm
Is this handset open or Tata Indicom has injected some (unwanted) network related stuff in its firmware to avoid usage of RUIM card of other networks???
saket December 29, 2009 at 4:41 pm
