Vivo X500 5G Series Confirmed to Launch in September

Vivo X500 5G series has been officially confirmed by the brand. This will first be a launch for the Chinese market, and then it will make it to the global market. The Vivo X500 series is expected to have several devices including Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro, and Vivo X500 Pro Max. Vivo has confirmed the Vivo X500 5G series will launch in China in September 2026. The brand is jumping directly from the Vivo X300 series to the Vivo X500 series. This is the case with most Chinese brands when it comes to the numbering of their products series. We never saw a OnePlus 4, it is because most east asia companies think that the number four brings bad luck. Coming back to the Vivo X500 series, the brand has confirmed some details around the camera.

Vivo X500 Series Camera Details Which Have been Confirmed

Vivo X500 Pro models are confirmed to come with a new ZEISS Super Dynamic main camera, developed jointly by Vivo’s BluePrint imaging team and Sony. At the center of the camera is the new BluePrint Guangyu 900 sensor, a 50MP 1/1.28-inch sensor designed to capture a wider range of highlights and shadows. Vivo has said that this sensor will deliver up to 17EV of dynamic range, which it describes it as the highest in the industry.

So in difficult lighting situations, such as when the subject is standing against a bright background, this sensor should still be able to capture amazing shots. The same technology will also bring amazing results for users when they are capturing videos. The Vivo X500 Pro models are confirmed to support 4K 240fps slow-motion recording and 4K 120fps HDR video with direct HDR output.
