YU is now gearing up for the launch of the next device in the lineup. The upcoming device has been codenamed 'Project Caesar' by YU and the device will be launched in April. The device is already being teased across social media channels and now a new teaser has come up which mocks the Xiaomi Redmi 2.
The teaser also reveals some of the specs of the upcoming smartphones. To start off, it will come with a 64-bit SoC (probably the Snapdragon 410) and will get 2GB of RAM to go with it. In comparison, the Redmi 2 has a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 SoC but it teams up with 1GB of RAM. The Redmi 2 has 8GB of internal storage while the Project Caesar device has been teased to come with 16GB of internal storage.
The teaser reads "Read Mi lips… the Future is Yu" where 'M'is written in a similar manner as the Xiaomi's logo. The earlier teaser showcased that it will run Android Lollipop based Cyanogen OS 12. So that is all we know about the device. It will hit the launchpad in April but the exact launch date is yet unknown.
As far as the expected pricing is concerned, it may be pegged at Rs 6,000-7,000.
