It looks like operators have already started working on TRAI’s new guidelines to make prepaid billing more transparent.
We have manged to get the first sneak peak of Vodafone working on its Prepaid My Account services.
Vodafone My account service is still in beta phase for prepaid customers and hopefully in coming days it would be functional for all Vodafone Prepaid customers on Pan India basis.
We believe the Prepaid my account services will offer activation and deactivation of Value added services, online balance check, current plan details and lots of other features.TRAI’s new transparent billing guidelines is a big win for customers which will now help subscribers to track prepaid account in real time and reduce faulty balance deduction.
AirTel is also working on a similar platform for prepaid subscribers which might be called self care or my account service with same set of features and offers in coming days.
