Dial to the toll-free number 1925 and select option 1 or simply type “START” and SMS it to 1925 to activate data service.

For existing customers, type 4G space SIM No. (of new 4G blank sim)and SMS it to the toll-free number 59111 from your existing SIM and mobile number. Once the current SIM gets disconnected, insert the new Telenor 4G SIM in your 4G handset’s SIM slot. Change the settings to 4G on device.

Even though Telenor 4G on narrow band LTE is not able to match speeds offered by other 4G operators, the affordable data packs and 3G like speed has gained high popularity. However, there are reports that Vodafone India is in talks to acquire Telenor in a bid to increase its 4G spectrum holdings. Vodafone currently has 4G spectrum in only five circles, as compared to Idea’s holdings in 10 circles and Airtel and Reliance Jio’s pan-India footprint.
