Vodafone India has announced the launch of Vodafone SuperNet across Karnataka. In the initiative, Vodafone has added 2000+ cell sites across Karnataka to launch its 4G network in Bengaluru and Mysuru and its own 3G network is now available across 20 cities viz in Bengaluru, Tumkur, Chikmagalur, Hassan, Mangalore, Sirsi, Mysuru, Madikeri, Hubli-Dharwad, Belgaum, Gadag, Bagalkot, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bidar, Bijapur, Davangere, Chitradurga, Bellary, Shimoga across the state.
Vodafone SuperNet 4G is available on the 1800 Mhz spectrum band across Bangalore covering all prominent locations, and Mysuru. It is supported by a backhaul of 3G services on Vodafone's own network.

Launch of Vodafone U
Vodafone India has also announced ‘Vodafone ‘U’, which the company claims to be designed for Young Indians.

Vodafone ‘U’ is a life style proposition that brings a bundle of benefits that will keep its users always connected with friends and fun via the world of internet, voice, music plus exciting digital offers and experiences,” added Mr. Kapur.
Under U, Vodafone has introduced features such a 60MB data loan for 2 days at Rs. 20, calls at 20p/min to any three local Vodafone numbers, unlimited music downloads for 60 days and additional night data between 12am to 6am. New customers can avail these offers at Rs. 89 for 14 days and Rs. 288 for 28 days. Existing customers can avail these offers at Rs. 177 for 14 days and Rs. 289 for 28 days.
