Huawei MediaPad M2 goes official, will be up for sale soon

Last month Huawei MediaPad M2 was spotted at an official Huawei store in Paris and today, the company has made the device official. The MediaPad M2 is a tablet with a Full HD IPS display of 8-inches with ClariVu technology that is equipped with sensors to change the display mode as per the surrounding.

The device is powered by a 64-bit 2GHz Kirin 930 octa-core processor paired with 2GB / 3GB LPDDR3 RAM (depending on the variant). It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.1 on top. There is an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a 2-megapixel front camera. It comes with 16GB/32GB of internal storage (again, depending on the variant), which can be further enhanced up to 128GB via microSD card.

Huawei MediaPad M2The Huawei MediaPad M2 features a metal unibody design with dual stereo speakers equipped with harman/kardon and HIFI Codec Hi6402 with Power Amplifier (PA) and Clari-Fi real audio technology that makes playing games and viewing videos worth watching on the tablet. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE (cat.4), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and is backed by a 4800mAh battery.

The MediaPad M2 will be available in Gold and Silver colors and will initially be retailing in China, Western Europe and the South Pacific. Thereafter, it will be available in Russia, North and Eastern Europe and Japan. There is no information regarding the price yet, we hope Huawei will soon reveal the pricing as well.

I dont agree. A to z phones, accessories r coming from china– MADE IN CHINA. Better stop import goods from China which is not possible…

Good message, let more people be aware of this. Huawei has direct links with People’s Liberation Army. Although only a minority of people can resist because they are greedy and cheap and Chinese know this. People should avoid all Chinese brands. This is a country that sides with Pakistan and allowed terrorists to go scot free.

do you even know micromax never manufactures phones ? It only re-brands Chinese phones. Yureka to canvas everything is chines re-branded device. And people who are saying stop using huawei becasue it has links to govt can everyone tell me how many of you have purchased DRM protected songs ? Almost 90% of Indians download songs from whose funds are used for terrorist activity. So stop this bull-shit discrimination.

yes ,Rohan is right . just go to alibaba or any website where they can give you any brand phone just need to order in quantity .. you can order Harshil phones too .. just need to give name to them and they will provide quantity . All Indian manufacturer also import everything from china and assemble it in India . but we can not stop buying mobile . let’s start not buying them often and keep gap of 2 years plus . . at-least we can do this.. and get something that can upgrade next version like iPhone can… Read more »
